Because it is a sector in which workers' rights are often massively violated,
Because the clothing manufacturing chain has become so complex and opaque,
More and more of us want to change our clothing consumption habits.
It's not easy to dress in an eco-responsible way while having access to reliable information. That's why we wanted to create the Armoire Poéthique to offer both a boutique of ethical brands and a space where you can learn more about the challenges facing the textile industry. The boutique brings together more than fifteen European brands to offer you a range from head to toe for everyone! Since dressing ethically doesn't necessarily mean wearing dull or ethnic clothes, we've put together a selection of timeless basics and more trendy items for everyday life.
GET INFORMED
L'Armoire Poéthique is more than a shop: it's a welcoming place where you can chat, take your time, learn, and read while drinking coffee or tea! You can discover a world map with cotton threads tracing the path of jeans, or a presentation of the different stages of the raw material, to transform a plastic bottle into running leggings, or the meaning of the different labels used in textiles.
MEET
You can also participate in meetings hosted by partner organizations to discover the working conditions of cotton producers, understand the way of consuming in developing countries, different cultures through clothing, and many other themes! Workshops are also organized to introduce you to sewing and repair your clothes or make zero-waste upcycled products.

Thanks to the Armoire Poéthique, not only will you have an alternative to fast fashion, but you will also be able to learn, discover, get moving, have a good time, exchange ideas, be enthusiastic and participate in this quiet revolution that Rob Hopkins, initiator of the movement of towns and territories in transition, talks about.
OUR MISSIONS
The Poetry Wardrobe is a project rooted in the Social and Solidarity Economy and defending its values of solidarity and social utility. It has a threefold mission that we consider essential.
- Propose an ecological transition initiative around clothing to encourage individual and societal change.
- Support ethical raw material producers, creators and manufacturers.
- Generate enthusiasm and the desire to take action by developing a better understanding of the countries of the South and sustainable development.
OUR CONTRIBUTIONS
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from clothing.
- Improve working conditions in the textile industry.

Beyond these elements, we believe in respect for human rights , local and international solidarity , commitment , transition and movement , education , citizenship , exchange and interculturality , to demonstrate that we can all act to contribute to a more livable world.
