THE TEAM

After a career as an aeronautical engineer and ten years of volunteering in international solidarity in India and West Africa, I wanted to create my own business by acting on my own scale with my means. My various missions abroad made me realize the importance of interculturality, the richness that diversity brings, because by exchanging we can find local solutions that act globally to reduce inequalities and fight against climate change. But then, how can we create an activity that allows us to forge links between the inhabitants of here and the inhabitants of the countries of the South? What could be the common thread? I thought about it, I drew inspiration from my experience, I met people, and then one day, I had the idea! Well, this common thread: it is precisely the thread, the cotton thread, the clothing! My dream is to go back to the origin of the products, to discover the cotton producers and the people who make our clothes, to source items directly from local artisans within the framework of fair trade, in order to find solidarity fibers.

THE TEAM
IN DIGITAL
Amandine from Studio Graine is our favorite graphic designer. She created and created our graphic charter and the magnificent illustrations you can admire in our store and in our communications.
She also designed and developed our first website!
Nicolas from Horizon Vert Conseil created this new website by recreating the beautiful atmosphere of the previous one, and he optimized it to be eco-friendly. We met Nicolas through Maison Izard, with whom he collaborates. Nicolas is passionate about ethical fashion and committed to eco-friendly communication, and it's a pleasure to collaborate with him!
Marc de Tillin is the developer of the checkout solution we adopted, as it is designed by merchants for merchants. This collaborative partnership is very rewarding for having software that best meets our needs!
THE TEAM
THE SOCIAL AND SOLIDARITY ECONOMY COMMITTEE
Because together we always go further than alone,
Because we created a collective dynamic from the beginning,
Because being part of the Social and Solidarity Economy implies shared governance,
We have set up an ESS committee, which includes:
An engineer by training, Amélie is a painter who has always been committed to ecology. Amélie has many talents, particularly in communication, and she is the one who made the video for the crowdfunding campaign. Amélie has been involved in the project from the very beginning and has decided to leave her place on the committee now that the project is launched. She continues to support us! You can discover her works under the name Amélie Osleau .
Angela, who has worked at the boutique since the beginning and for a year and a half, has agreed, to our great joy, to continue being part of the team by joining the ESS committee of the Armoire Poéthique! Angela is also the creator of the Véra Duran brand whose accessories we sell.
Antoine has extensive experience in organizational management, particularly in financial and human resources matters. A former entrepreneur, he puts his expertise and skills to work for various committed project leaders. He joined us after the boutique's first few months of opening and started by modeling for the first anniversary!
Initiator of the Zero Waste Family Challenge in the Mérignac Arlac district and co-founder of the Echoppe Zéro déchet, a zero waste third-party place in Mérignac, Aude has been involved in the project from the beginning and shares her entrepreneurial experience in the social and solidarity economy with us.
Passionate about fashion, Aurélie actively participates in ordering items. A good bargain hunter and excellent DIY enthusiast, Aurélie has restored all the antique furniture you can admire at the Armoire Poéthique!
An air traffic controller, Barbara is committed to responsible consumption and volunteering in activities that are meaningful to her. It was therefore a natural progression for her to join the Armoire Poéthique's ESS committee.
A member of the Board of Directors of Zero Waste France and of the Echoppe Zéro déchet, Benjamin participates in the strategic decisions of the Armoire Poéthique, shares his network with us and leads our Inventons Nos Vies Bas Carbone workshops!
A professor and researcher in agronomy, Catherine is personally committed to the ecological transition and has adapted her life and consumption patterns to today's world. At Armoire Poéthique, Catherine is particularly interested in the issue of eco-responsible materials and labels.
An English teacher with a passion for travel, languages and interculturality, Cathy actively participates in ordering articles and supports the project.
Support from the very beginning and at all times, Denis is involved in all aspects of the project (except the orders!) and is particularly responsible for the IT and hi-fi aspects (with Gaël!).
A communicator, Lise recently created her upcycled leather goods brand Mutane , which we hope to soon offer you at Armoire Poéthique. She joined the committee a few months after the store opened and brings us her experience in communication and ethical brand creation. Lise is also very involved in the third place La Possiblerie with values close to ours.
Engineer and coach, Marie-Noëlle invested in the project from the beginning, notably as a coach and helped the idea become a project and then a reality! She continues to support us in particular by leading brainstorming sessions on the development and vision of the Armoire Poéthique.
An employee in an industrial group, Nicolas puts his strengths to work for the ecological transition by raising awareness among his colleagues about the climate emergency through animations of the climate fresco and actions within the eco-responsible section of the works council. Nicolas participates in the strategic decisions of the Armoire Poéthique and is our male representative for orders!
Formerly a clothing store manager, Valérie shared her extensive experience in the field with us, both in terms of layout and practical aspects. In this new phase of the project, Valérie continues to support us, although she does not continue her role as a committee member.
A former chemical engineer in industry, Violaine ran an aromatherapy shop for several years before creating her own brand of natural and organic cosmetics, Galilée Guyenne . With a background that reminds her of Carine's, she joined the committee to share her valuable feedback!
