Changing our relationship with clothing
Through workshops and testimonials, we want to encourage textile production that respects human rights and living things, revalue the world's crafts by encouraging responsible consumption and forge a link between you and all the players in the clothing industry.

So that overconsumption is no longer fashionable
The reverse side of the garment
This everyday object is as banal as it is universal, as essential as it is superficial. Today, the textile industry is recognized as being socially predatory and environmentally devastating.
The place of alternatives
All over the world, initiatives exist that place respect for human rights and living things at the heart of their approach.
Our collective highlights them by sharpening the critical sense and curiosity of both individuals and manufacturers.
In Ethical Mode
Drawing on the Sustainable Development Goals, we show that it is possible to act at every stage of the clothing's life and contribute to social and environmental justice to promote ethical design and manufacturing; rethink our consumption and our relationship with clothing; and reduce the impact of the end of life of textiles.

Workshops and workshops
Testimonies from responsible fashion stakeholders • Brand creators, workers in different countries around the world, distributors, experts...
Practical and artisanal workshops • Natural dyes, screen printing, dismantling of clothing...
Site visits • Clothing donation collection and sorting centers, recycling centers, ethical fashion boutiques.
Collective intelligence workshops • “From fiber to wardrobe” game.

From fiber to the cabinet
Designed in the form of a survey, this game invites participants to discover the key concepts and criteria for recognizing and choosing ethical and sustainable clothing that respects the environment and workers throughout the textile life cycle: production of the material, manufacturing, marketing and end of life of the product.
Intended for a teenage and/or adult audience, for groups of between 8 and 20 people, lasting 1.5 hours, this collective intelligence workshop can be aimed at both people new to the subject and future textile professionals.
The game is also available in English.

The collective
A-Freak-A
Based in Bayonne, this international solidarity association raises awareness about fair trade and global citizenship through textiles. Since 2007, its collaboration with workshops in Senegal, Bangladesh, and the Basque Country has illustrated the positive impact of responsible fashion through its Justesse brand. By proving that fashion can generate jobs and social and environmental value, its collections support development projects in Senegal and educational workshops in France, linking popular education and crafts.

The collective
The Poetic Wardrobe
A Social and Solidarity Economy company, Armoire Poéthique is a committed fashion boutique that, since 2021, has been offering sustainable clothing for everyone in Bordeaux, from responsible brands selected for their social and environmental commitment and transparency. It also conducts awareness-raising activities on textile issues: environmental impact, manufacturing conditions and the end of life of clothing.

The collective
Zero Waste Bordeaux
Founded in 2018, Zero Waste Bordeaux, a member of Zero Waste France, is an association working to reduce waste and preserve natural resources. It campaigns, raises awareness, shares concrete solutions, and supports communities, entrepreneurs, associations, and citizens across the Gironde and Nouvelle-Aquitaine regions.

"Under a sunny climate, we experienced a powerful awareness-raising day thanks to Benjamin from Zero Waste Bordeaux and his partners.
Like Fast Tech, Fast Fashion relies on overproduction, rapid obsolescence, and a heavy human and environmental impact."
Back Market
"Thank you, I think this activity was appreciated by the students and allowed them to reflect on the ethical issues of fashion.
Do you think we can repeat the experience with the 4th graders next year?
