Article: The crowdfunding campaign

The crowdfunding campaign

To be able to finance the custom-made furniture (by Ugo, a young carpenter from Bordeaux), to make ourselves known, to initiate a collective dynamic, we launched a crowdfunding campaign on the neo aquitaine platform
IadoptAProject .

The campaign took place over February and March 2022 and, thanks to you, we were able to finance all the furniture in the shop, based on a design proposed by LISAA students (in particular Charlotte Robache and Louise Vigier ), as part of our partnership!

To discover the campaign and learn more about the project, click on the following link: I ADOPT A PROJECT & THE POETHICAL WARDROBE: DRESS WELL AND KNOW WHY .

We wanted to collaborate with the JadopteUnProjet platform, because it is the first local and solidarity crowdfunding platform in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and it is part of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE).

Its mission is to provide project leaders with a responsible, local tool for collecting donations and to promote the economic development of local areas. Projects must have social, environmental, or cultural added value.

We thought it suited us well and what's more, we were very well supported by Camille!

To thank our generous donors, we've chosen rewards that are meaningful to us because they symbolize partnerships with the Armoire Poéthique. Let us explain why.

The Dhayana Meditation App

You can learn meditation through immersive sessions led by Dadul Samtan, a former Buddhist monk living in the Bordeaux metropolitan area. Dadul is a friend who also runs the Lungta eco-tourism association, which organizes solidarity trips to India to develop a different approach to tourism, foster interculturality, and support sustainable economic and social development projects in the Indian regions visited.

Through the Dhayana application, beyond improving your well-being, you can understand another culture and values that are dear to us, namely the importance of appreciating what we have and the work that was required upstream so that we have access to certain products that we use every day, sometimes forgetting where they come from.

We are delighted with this emerging partnership, which will continue with Dadul speaking at certain awareness-raising workshops within the Armoire Poéthique!

The organic cotton bag in the colors of the Armoire Poéthique

We've had a limited edition of special bags made for this crowdfunding campaign, so you can shop at Armoire Poéthique while reducing your waste! We also have a simpler version available for purchase in the store.

These bags are made by Coton vert , in GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified cotton.
GOTS is a global standard for organic fibers that includes ecological and social criteria and relies on independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, trade, and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70% certified organic natural fibers. It currently has the most stringent specifications.

The scarf made in Senegal by our partner brand Justesse

The Justesse brand, whose items you can find at the Armoire Poéthique, collaborates with the Senegalese workshop Maam Samba of the NGO of the villagers of Ndem . We have chosen to introduce you to their colorful cotton scarves, with a unique character, handcrafted in Senegal. They are also on sale at the Armoire Poéthique.
