The natural dyes workshop
A meeting tinged with naturalness
On Saturday, June 4, we welcomed Moussa from the Senegalese workshop Maam Samba from the Ndem villagers' NGO and Pierre, creator of the brand Accuracy and the A-freak-A association. They led natural dyeing workshops using onion peels, red cabbage, and avocado skins on the terrace of the Armoire Poéthique.
A first workshop took place in the morning with clients of the Armoire Poéthique and a second in the afternoon with young people from the Eysines social center, who are participating in the 'Je raconte l'Afrique' program of IDAF (Institute of Africa).
All day long, a stand with creations by Justesse and Maam Samba was present at the boutique and we were able to chat with Moussa and Pierre!
